Really good Villa Experience

Some friends and I stayed in one of the villas recently. The hotel provided a world class experience from arrival. The amazing views and unbelievable amenities enhanced my stay. The staff, especially our butler, provided service solving challenges and ensured our needs were met.
The lunch menu could offer more snack options. I sometimes wanted only a light meal. This did not spoil my stay.

A mixed experience. Some issues

the architecture of the hotel is amazing, especially the lobby and the rooms.
Check-in took almost 45 minutes. I was really tired after travelling and it took another 20 minutes to get my bags to the room. It was frustrating.

the food was acceptable at breakfast, with fresh juices available.
i didn't appreciate that our room wasn't ready until nearly 3 p.m. this caused an unnecessary delay at the start of my stay. front desk staff also seemed poorly informed, failing to mention available activities. i also found that housekeeping didn't clean the room daily unless requested, which i think is something to expect in this kind of accommodation.

I enjoyed the rooftop bar, bisou. the cocktails were excellent and generously sized (i had the best old fashioned). service was very fast and polite. the shisha equipment was great. They used musthave tobacco and replaced the coconut charcoals every 20 minutes.
Check-in took almost 45 minutes. i was tired from traveling and my bags took another 20 minutes to arrive. it was unclear where i could go for dinner and what was included in the all-inclusive package. Everything should be included if i'm paying for all-inclusive.

The service around the pool was quite slow. it often took over 30 minutes for drinks and food to arrive. I had to constantly flag down waiters. there was also very little to do in the evening. the hotel lacked evening entertainment, such as singers or theme nights.

The hotel room was quite comfortable. i stayed in a suite and appreciated the space. the cleanliness of the room was very good. The housekeeping staff did a good job.
the service at the restaurants was slow, particularly during peak hours. getting a table sometimes took longer than expected. also the gym equipment was limited. i found it difficult to complete my workout due to the number of people using the machines.
